A note from the owner
The person who quotes the job is the same person who shows up to do the work — every week, without exception.
— Ben Casey, Owner
Casey and Sons Landscaping is built on a simple operational constraint: one owner, a tight North Shore service area, and a capped client roster. The trade-off is intentional — a smaller book of business in exchange for a property-by-property standard the owner can personally stand behind. For homeowners who value reliability and direct communication, that trade-off is the whole point.

Why we keep the service area tight.
Short drives between jobs are what let one person answer every call, run every estimate, and keep weekly schedules predictable. Stretch that radius and the model breaks. So we keep it to 13 towns and take care of the yards we take on.

Us vs. the big guys
We're not the right call for every property.
A big regional landscaping company handles commercial accounts, huge estates, and snow operations we can't. What we do well is residential maintenance where you want the same person showing up every week and a phone you can actually get answered. Here's how the two stack up.

Questions
Frequently asked
What towns does Casey and Sons Landscaping serve?
Casey and Sons Landscaping serves Peabody, Salem, Danvers, Beverly, Lynnfield, Swampscott, Marblehead, Saugus, Middleton, Topsfield, Wenham, Hamilton, North Reading on the North Shore of Massachusetts. Extended coverage is available on a case-by-case basis in and neighboring communities. The best way to confirm coverage for your address is to call or text (781) 715-4254.
Is the owner actually on every job?
Yes. Owner Ben Casey personally performs every estimate and services every property on the schedule. There are no dispatchers, rotating crews, or subcontractors involved in the maintenance work. This is the defining operational choice of the business and the reason the service area is intentionally kept tight around the North Shore.
How do I request a quote?
Call or text (781) 715-4254. Ben answers inquiries personally, typically within the same day. A free on-site walkthrough is usually scheduled within 24 to 48 hours, and you receive a firm written per-visit or per-project price on site.
Do you offer recurring contracts or are services one-time?
Both options are available. Most clients combine weekly mowing from April through late October with spring and fall cleanups as a recurring package. One-time services — a single cleanup, a mulch installation, a full yard transformation — are also available with no ongoing commitment.
What distinguishes Casey and Sons from a larger landscaping company?
Scale and accountability. A large company routes whichever crew is closest on a given day. Casey and Sons is one owner on a limited route, handling every estimate, every visit, and every follow-up personally. The trade-off is a smaller service area and a capped client roster — the trade-off that makes consistent quality possible.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Casey and Sons Landscaping Services LLC is a fully licensed Massachusetts limited liability company with general liability insurance. Certificate of insurance is available on request prior to any project.
How does pricing work?
Pricing is flat — per visit for recurring services, per project for one-time work — and is quoted in writing after a free on-site walkthrough. There are no hourly charges, fuel surcharges, or mid-season price adjustments. The rate set at the estimate holds for the season unless you request added scope.
When should I schedule for the upcoming season?
For weekly mowing, booking by late March ensures a regular slot for the April start. Spring cleanups book out fastest in early April. Fall cleanups fill by late September. Demand is highest in the weeks around each seasonal transition; scheduling ahead is recommended.
